Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you sign in by email, we store your email address to identify your account. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google.

When you save a slang term, we store the slang word, the languages involved, and the translation result linked to your account so you can access your saved words across devices.

How we use your data

• To sync your saved slangs across devices
• To display your name and avatar in the app
• We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising

Third-party services

• Google OAuth — used for sign-in. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
• Email delivery provider — used to send one-time, passwordless sign-in links to the email address you provide.
• Anthropic Claude API — slang terms you enter are sent to Anthropic to generate translations. See Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
• Supabase — your account data and saved slangs are stored in a Supabase PostgreSQL database hosted on AWS.
• Google Analytics — collects anonymous usage data (pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location) using cookies so we can understand how many people use SlangSna:p. See how Google uses this data.

Data retention

Your data is kept as long as you have an account. You can delete your saved slangs at any time from the app. To delete your account entirely, contact us at the email below.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To make a request, email us and we will respond within 30 days.
